Junior Sailing change of Date

The final week of Junior Sailing this year is being changed from Wednesday, July 27 to Tuesday, July 26. It is typically on Wednesdays, and we want to make sure that all of the kids know which day to come!

Update on NEMI, Laurie Cook, Ward 1 Councillor.

Lillian McGregor

Lillian McGregor (1924-2012), who was born to a chief of Whitefish River First Nation (Angus McGregor) was included in a recent exhibit in Toronto to celebrate Toronto women who fought inequality. Her life was briefly described in a recent story in the Toronto Star. There was also a longer obituary in the Globe and Mail when she passed away in 2012.…
