New Pages and MBA Website information

We're sharing notices or obits and photos of Bay Friends who have passed. Send Information to gmail address, please. Here is the link to new page In Memory of Bay Folks  ("members" tab and drop down menu.)

I encourage all members to post photos, add notices or conversations to the blog, participate, create "events" with the option to "invite all" (the same as sending e-blast). A tutorial  Add An Event can be found under the "members" tab on the main menu for signed in website members.

Our website is a convenient, efficient method to share McGregor Bay information utilizing available capabilities without scrolling on social media, going for a ride to the Parish Hall to check the Bulletin Board or checking your "paper copy" of the Calendar and Newsletter. Announcing an event at Sunday Service reaches some, the "cedar telegraph" reaches others.

Changes in information, dates, cancellations or additions after the Annual Newsletter is printed and mailed are inevitable, through no fault of our dedicated Newsletter Volunteers. Their team and contributors have met the challenge of publishing beautiful and interesting Newsletters for many years.  Archives at Newsletter Archives go back to 2013.

Information in regards to fire concerns and restrictions, scheduled hydro outages, local events or concerns are posted as soon as possible. It looks like rain, is your event cancelled or postponed?

Our website can be as up to date and informative as "we" (a friendly, kind, bay community) choose to make it.

I would appreciate your ongoing participation. If you have not visited lately, please have a look. Many of our pages are mobile phone compatible. Send any feedback or info to the gmail address on the homepage.

Thanks, Lyn (web admin)
